UNFORTUNATELY, there is no way to get HOG Insurance coverage for camping events.  Thus, this event is no longer a CTHOG event.  Mark Gardner will contact those registered to discern continued interest as a non-chapter event.

This is a first for the Chapter. A motocamping ride!  That's right - tent camping at Lost Maples and the only thing we have is what we carry on the bikes. We're looking for some adventurous souls to join us - no whining allowed!! We have two campsites reserved with five people per campsite.  Day one will take us on some great roads via Fredricksburg and Kerrville, with a planned lunch stop at the Rio Rancho Cafe outside of Ingram. On the way to Lost Maples we'll enjoy about 1.5 of the Twisted Sisters, heading south on 336 then east on 337. We'll enjoy a great evening of camp food, whiskey, and cigars around a campfire on Saturday evening, then on Sunday head back via Blanco, stopping for lunch at one of our favorite haunts there. Total ride distance will get you a little over 400 miles, roughly 220 on day 1 and 180 on day 2. Do you have the attitude and fortitude to join us? Come on - whiskey and Cigars by the fire pit!
