2026 Lake Ray Roberts

Let's take a nice 3 day weekend retreat! Casey and Charles will be taking all the backroads to travel to Pilot Point, Texas- Lake Ray Roberts to stay at the Lone Star Lodge. This lodge sits on the banks of Lake Ray Roberts, with a magnificent view of the evening sunset. The lodge is close to Pilot Point, TX, with gorgeous Texas homes and horse ranches. Our Friday departure will put us in Pilot Point late in the day, with dinner at a local Mexican food establishment, or Ubereats to the patio to sit, chill and watch the sunset. We will be up early to have breakfast at the Bluebonnet, and a very cool ride in the OTHER Texas Hill Country, making our way to a great stop on the Red River. We will then work our way through southern Oklahoma, back to the lodge. Saturday night will be on your own, with possibilities of a great concert at Winstar, a trip to Gainesville to a really cool restaurant/brewery, or another chill sunset. Last year, we parked the bikes, called a ride, and toured a Vodka distillery and had a LARGE time!  On Sunday, we start home planning a trip at Gilbert Pecan Store and lunch at the Purple Goat in Stephenville. We should make it home on Sunday by mid afternoon.

Once you have made your hotel reservation, please REGISTER HERE! to register for this overnight ride. This lets the Riding Activities officer and the RC know you are going. Should you need to cancel your registration, please inform both the Riding Activities officer and the RC of this ride.
