2026 Leakey

Every year you hear about friends going on great vacations during Spring Break. This year, CTHOG is arranging a great three-day, two-night vacation to visit a nice little out-of-the-way spot not far from Garner State Park.  The area has beautiful scenery, some technical roads, and you may even be able to find a few places with ZERO bars of cell service!

KSU Friday, March 13 from HEB, with a stop for lunch at the original Apple Store in Medina.  We are being offered dinner at the Historic Leakey Inn that night.  Saturday, we visit Three Twisted Sisters and head southeast for lunch in Utopia.  Afterwards, we'll see if we can find a new route back to Leakey.  Dinner on Saturday evening is at the Inn and will be prepared and enjoyed by CTHOG members in attendance. On Sunday, plan to enjoy the awesome scenery as we return to Liberty Hill.

Because we are scheduling this awesome trip during Spring Break, we could only block half the facilities. Those interested must book your room by FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 2026.

Be aware that this motel is a "mom & pop" operation and you may have to call again if you haven't received a verbal response within 24 hours or so.  A block of rooms is being held under "CTHOG."  Room rates range from $110-$150 +taxes per night, depending on the room or cabin you select. There is a 2 night minimum.
