Welcome back to another adventure by the sea!

Itenerary

Friday -We will depart CTHD on Friday morning at 8:30 am, so please show NLT 8:00 am to check in and hear the briefing.  We envision needing two groups for this weekend trek to the coast.  Tex and Esquire are the RCs for Group A while JK and Rev are the RCs for Group B.  Expect 2 gas stops and lunch in Goliad.  Lunch will be on the west side of Goliad's Courthouse Square at Deborah's Kitchen around noon.  Expect to arrive at the Ocean's Edge Hotel around 3:30 pm.  The Ocean's Edge serves breakfast, is next door to cart rentals and the Island Bakery, and has multiple outdoor cabanas for camaraderie gatherings.

Saturday - Free time, no chapter ride.  Here is a partial list of restaurants to check out during the w/e: Grumble's Seafood Co., Virginia's on the Bay, Trout Street Bar & Grill, Tortuga's Saltwater Grill, Castaway's Seafood & Grill, KC's Oyster Shack, Port A Creamery (for Jay), Lelo's Island Bar, and Fins Grill & Icehouse.

Sunday - We will depart Port A at 8:30 am in our same groups.  We will have lunch in Flatonia at Darlings Diner around 11:45 am.  Expect 2 gas stops enroute to KSD at the Hutto Shell station around 3:30 pm.

PRERIDE MEETING Our registered riders and drivers will meet after the March GM to review the Day 1 and 3 ride plans plus additional itinerary activities.  So, if anyone wants to play Tour Director...here's your chance lay out some advice and/or group plan options.

Hotel Information

Ocean's Edge Hotel, 300 West Avenue G, Port Aransas, 78373. Please call (361)749-6427 to make your reservation. Be sure to provide the block name "CTHOG" when you call.

Arrival: 4/10/26, check-in 4pm         Departure: 4/12/26, check-out 11am

A block of 10 King and 5 Double Queen rooms are being held under "CTHOG." This block of rooms will expire on Friday, 3/20/26. Cost of room per night: $119 plus taxes.  If you need to cancel your reservation, it must be canceled 48 hours from the date of arrival. A $100 damage deposit may be required at check-in, but will be released after room inspection. Call and ask for Amanda on Mondays or Tuesdays at the number above should you have any questions.

Once you have made your hotel reservation, please REGISTER HERE to register for this overnight ride. This lets the Riding Activities officer and the RC know you are going. Should you need to cancel your registration, please inform both the Riding Activities officer and the RC of this ride.

Overnight Event: These events have a duration of 1+ nights. Beyond that they are considered Closed Events. Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
