Big Bend Adventures – April 5-9

Every year our CTHOG chapter sets up an overnight to the beautiful Big Bend Region. For 2022, we're going to try something a little different - time for adventures! This is a Tuesday April 5 departure and returning home on Saturday April 9.

The Tuesday, April 5th path (495 miles) will take riders out to Lajitas Golf Resort. We will set up in accommodations for the nights of April 5, 6, and 7. Wednesday, April 6 is a free day to schedule your activities at the resort or around the Big Bend area. Thursday, April 7 will include the traditional Chisos Basin sunrise ride and breakfast as well as the remainder of the day to take advantage of local adventures such as horseback riding, ziplines, kayaking, hiking, golf, and the list goes on!

On Friday, April 8 we will head over to Ft. Davis (195 miles) for some beautiful riding during the day and an opportunity for those interested to head up to the McDonald Observatory for the nighttime Star Party. The hotels recommended for our members are the Harvard Hotel and the Hotel Limpia (Casa West Building).

For those interested in the McDonald Observatory Sky Party, tickets are available now. Friday nights sell out fast so purchase tickets sooner than later! www.mcdonaldobservatory.org

On Saturday, April 9, we'll head on home (420 miles).

Join your CTHOG friends for riding in the beautiful Big Bend region as well as some off-bike adventures. This event is a Members Only, Level 4 event limited to the first 20 riders to sign up. Make your reservations now for Big Bend 2022.
