Make your reservations now for Big Bend 2021 for April 14-18. This event is a Members Only, Level 4 event limited to the first 40 riders to sign up. John, Esquire, Louis, and Rob are your BB 2021 RCs. Kick Stands Up at 7 am sharp from the HEB Leander on Wednesday, April 14th. Our 1st day takes us 500 miles to Lajitas Resort & Spa. Thursday is an optional day with our chapter Sunrise Breakfast Ride into the Chisos Basin, Big Bend National Park sights, Terlingua haunts and Lajitas activities (zip lines, shot guns, spa services, horseback riding tours, etc.) as additional offerings for entertainment. We'll ride El Camino Real (aka River Road) on Friday morning headed westbound for lunch in Presidio and cruise thru Marfa enroute to Ft. Davis and the Ft. Davis loop. Afternoon/evening activities include Ft. Davis Historic Site, the McDonald Observatory Sky Party (get tickets early at www.mcdonaldobservatory.org ) or a ride to the Balmorhea State Park.

For those interested in the McDonald Observatory Sky Party, tickets were released for sale.  Friday nights sell out fast so purchase tickets now.  The event is a program presentation only.  There is no telescope viewing at this time.

Saturday is a 235 mile thru Limpia Creek Canyon onto I-10 to Sonora. There will be an option to tour the Sonora Caverns. Every day's chapter ride is a Level 3 or 4 event for various CTHOG Ride Matrix criteria. Reference the Ride Matrix on the CTHOG website for details. We will keep you up to date on any pandemic details as they develop.
