Grandbury Wine Walk

Granbury's 2023 Wine Walk is being held April 28 thru 30.  Tex and John are your Road Captains for this Level 3 MEMBERS ONLY event.  Wine Walk tickets go on sale February 1st at crosstimberswinetrail.com.  Fifteen (15) rooms have been reserved at the Comfort Inn Suites, 903 Harbor Lakes Drive, Granbury, TX 76048 (817) 579-5559. These rooms are held under
"CT HOG" at a cost of $139.00 per night.  The block is held until March 28th.  Call the hotel to reserve your room, REGISTER HERE to let the RC's know you are coming. Note: Sherry Gillespie is driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee if any ladies want to join her.
Wine Walk activities engulf the Historic County Square.  Wine, food and craft vendors offer much to be sampled and purchased. We recommend that if you savor a wine sampled on Friday afternoon, you'd better buy it then as vendor supplies can sell out by Saturday afternoon.  There are several wonderful restaurants on and off the square as well as shops and bars.  
 
Weekend Overview:  Please show NLT 7:30 am at the HEB Leander for KSU @ 8:00 am SHARP on Friday the 28th! Our route to Granbury will have a gas stop in Gatesville, a lunch stop in either Hico or Stephenville (based on preride) with arrival at the Comfort Inn approximately 2:15 pm. Total mileage is 181 miles.  Friday afternoon/evening is usually spent shopping and dining on the square.
Saturday is a free day.  There will be a chapter lunch ride for those inclined. KSU @ 9:30 am for a 103 mile ride to the Smokestack Restaurant with an early afternoon arrival back to the hotel.
Members usually spend the afternoon back on the square and/or at the Revolver Brewery Event. Don "Esquire" Price has arranged for van service to/from and Sherry Gillespie has her Jeep Grand Cherokee.  This event ends at 6 pm...so back downtown for more merriment and mayhem.
Sunday we'll depart the hotel around 9:30 am for a more direct route to the HEB in Leander with a gas and snack stop in Hamilton, TX. Total mileage of 151 miles. Expect KSD Around 12:30 pm.
