Howdy all. Time for another trip out to San Saba! This is one of my favorite rides, heading out through Briggs, Kempner, and on back roads to Lampasas for a quick bio-break stop, then heading on back roads into San Saba. Pepperbelly's is a great Mexican place across the street from the courthouse. After lunch we'll take off down Highway 16 through Llano to Highway 71, making a stop at the Stripes, then head back via the Redneck Riviera and on to Park Road 4 before coming back to the HEB via Highway 29. This is a great ride, and here's hoping the weather stays nice for us. Total ride mileage should be right at 210 miles, and if all goes well we should be home by 3 pm. Looking forward to seeing you out to ride.
