Schobels Restaurant in Columbus TX, family opened and owned since 1979. The Schobel family has been sharing their family recipes with Columbus since the beginning. They have a wonderful lunch buffet or you can choose from the menu of some of the finest vittles between Houston and San Antonio. The Schobel family has also created 3 NFL players, Aaron Schobel, Matt Schobel and Bo Schobel. There is a possibility of meeting one of those guys!
We will leave CTHD Pavilion at 7:30 am and travel some of the less traveled eastern roads and arrive at Schobels between 11:00 and 11:30 am. After a wonderful meal we will make our way back home to CTHD sometime between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. The trip should gain you 294 miles.
