Port A - Day Dos/ Rev & Esq/ L2/ Oceans Edge/ 830 am

Well, you made it to "Port A", now what?  Retail therapy, rent a buggy and check out the beach, or visit "The Big Tree".  You have heard "Everything is bigger in Texas", well, this tree is thought to be at least 800 years old, and the trunk is about 36 feet in diameter.   "Reverend" has offered to take any willing participants to visit Goose Island State Park & The Big Tree.  Afterward, we take a ride around and across the Nueces Bay Causeway, get a visual of the USS Lexington, and then have lunch at Doc's Seafood on Padre Island.  From there, we will make our way back to Ocean's Edge Hotel and still have time to conduct some retail therapy or rent a buggy, to check out the beach.   Level 3 Ride, KSU @ 8:30, KSD 1:30, 100 Miles, no gas stops.
