Day 1:  Please arrive at the HEB Leander NLT 6:30 am with a full tank of gas and an empty bladder!  Anticipate KSU around 7:15 am or when it's light enough to head out.  From the HEB, will head north to 183 through Lampasas to Brownwood for our first gas stop.  From there will continue on Hwy 84, making a slight right on Hwy 283 outside of Santa Anna to Hwy 153, merging on Hwy 70 into Sweetwater for gas stop / lunch.  Will proceed on I 20 to Hwy 84 into Lubbock where we'll go KSD at the MCM Elegante Hotel for the day.  There is a nice restaurant and bar at the hotel.  Mileage will be just under 400 miles.
